Fibreglass Bed Suite [1970]

Prisunic – an exceptional French design house of yesteryear – produced some of the most memorable, all-inclusive pieces of design and furniture, often exhibiting stark forms/colours from moulded plastics. Collaborating with some of the most highly regarded designers, Prisunic looked to Marc Held for a bed suite that was to comprise a fully moulded polyester-type frame with integrated side tables and lighting made available in different configurations. Held had already established his own design practice Archiform and would later go on to produce work for Knoll, becoming their first and only French designer.
