Longtime collaborators Arthur Erickson and Geoffrey Massey completed the Simons Residence in 1970, managing to actualise and synthesise many of their ideas into a single form. With travertine flooring, angled timber panelled walls and a circular motif that extended from the stairs to the openings, joinery and upholstery throughout – the Simons Residence is perhaps the most iconically space age of all the residential works penned by Erickson and Massey.
