The Worcester Plaza – previously the Worcester County National Bank Tower – was billed as an exemplar take on the modern skyscraper to-be or, in short, ‘the shape of things to come’. Completed in 1974 with a full facade of glass, the structure still stands the tallest in Worcester (tied with the nearby Sky Mark Tower).
