Zele 1000 [1974]

An all-electric, Italian-produced fibreglass microcar, Zagato’s Zele 1000 was part of an impressively forward looking vehicular design movement that saw cars miniaturised for practical, modern city life. Exhibiting bold colours with a spartan, utilitarian interior, the Zele had a production run of just 500 examples assembled by Zagato as they continued with more renowned work for Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Fiat et al.
