An electric vehicle with a steel-framed fiberglass chassis, the design of the early-model Batricar has more in common with British sports car manufacture of the time than that of scooter production. Complete with a narrow wheelbase allowing for the passing through of internal doorways, a central control joystick and a pair of curved and squared fenders, the Batricar presented as a quirky companion to modern life.
