Debuting at the 1978 Birmingham Motor Show, the Vauxhall Equus saw lead designer Wayne Cherry shape a classic two seat roadster for the future. A concept that reveals a suite of sharp lines both to the silhouette and within via the provision of distinct mouldings and side louvres, the Equus was summated by Cherry as ‘the most uncompromised design’ that he ever completed.
