Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpio [1969]

The Scorpio saw the design houses of Pininfarina and Abarth join forces to create a concept that was to catapult the carmakers into the next decade. Akin to Giugiaro’s Volkswagen-Porsche Tapiro concept the year following, the Scorpio exhibits a dramatic profile with a 180° cockpit, retractable headlight bar, glassed engine bay and an open backend with a clear, profound single-line curvature from nose to tail.
