Inn of Tomorrow [1965]

Designed by industrialist and hotelier Al Stovall, The Inn of Tomorrow was part of a collection of low-cost, family-orientated space age motels in 1960s California. Located in the theme-park saturated city of Anaheim, the Inn of Tomorrow perhaps best displayed Stovall’s dedication to his product with the siting of an aluminium geodesic dome adjacent to the pool (an ‘exact replica’ of the moon landing structure) for guest’s enjoyment.
