A blocky, moulded plastic-cased terminal not dissimilar in form to Apple and Commodore offerings of the time, the Modular One was designed expressly with ‘human engineering features’ to maximise task-based efficiency. Released in 1976 by Hazeltine – a primarily defense electronics corporation – the terminal represented a brief foray into the crowded consumer computer market.
