S 420 Seating Series [1963]

Much like most of the Danish designer’s portfolio, Verner Panton’s 420 series demonstrates a playful interaction of geometries that provide for graphic silhouettes and functional modularity. Produced for Thonet, the series consists of an armchair, stool and side table which all flaunt a defining chromed steel frame with bulbous spherical connections.
