Regarded as the first A-Frame residence built in the United States, Henrik Bull’s Vermont Ski Cabin was borne from experimentation with low-cost, prefabricated designs of both a simple and playful nature. Bull’s establishment of his own architectural practice stemmed from a line of similar alpine commissions which later developed into an expansive body of awarded works that propelled west coast modernism forward through a particularly sensitive approach to client, structure and site.
