Since demolished, this cantilevered wedge-shaped form was built in the Slovakian alpine resort of Štrbské Pleso for the 1970 FIS World Ski Championships. Expansively glazed and topped with a roof terrace to provide sight lines across the adjacent slopes, the structure was primarily utilised as an observation tower by the general public and Championship officials alike.
