Tongue Chair [1967]

Created by French furniture and interior designer Pierre Paulin for in-house furniture maker Artifort, the Tongue stands out for its reduced, playfully wavy silhouette and stark upholstered hues. A unique fusion of artful design, Paulin’s strikingly sculptural approach has seen his works sit to permanent museum collections whilst still seeing manufacture today.
