{"id":2631,"date":"2017-01-16T00:59:05","date_gmt":"2017-01-16T00:59:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/designtel.co\/?p=2631"},"modified":"2017-01-16T01:26:29","modified_gmt":"2017-01-16T01:26:29","slug":"plastic-house-fg-2000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/design.tel\/plastic-house-fg-2000\/","title":{"rendered":"Plastic House FG 2000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Feierbach&#8217;s fibreglass creation\u00a0is a fantastic example of affordable, prefabricated and unrelenting Modern design that aligns well with more well-known examples such as the Suuronen&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/designtel.co\/futuro-house\/\" target=\"_blank\">Futuro<\/a> and Disney&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/designtel.co\/house-of-the-future-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">House of the Future<\/a>. All of plastic construction,\u00a0Feierbach furthered these principles, designing a suspended plastic staircase that would have been welcomed into the Kartell decor\u00a0lineup of the time. Furnishings, when not wholly-designed, were meticulously chosen and the hero of the FG 2000 is the <a href=\"http:\/\/designtel.co\/620-chair-programme\/\" target=\"_blank\">620 Chair Programme<\/a>, the triumphant modular creation by Dieter Rams for Vits\u0153 that appears almost as a scaled down version of the house in which it resides.\u00a0Feierbach had experience fabricating these forms and certainly translated this into the design development of the FG 2000 with its rounded corners, soft furnishings encapsulated by a solid\u00a0shell and custom fixtures.
