Commissioned by George Best himself during the height of his footballing career, Frazer Crane’s design was well ahead of its time. Best, with a minimal brief relative to that of the bachelor pad of today, requested only a billiards table and a sunken spa, but Crane’s design demonstrated thorough innovation from the inside out.
