Zoe Zipper [1983]

Originally designed and fabricated by Mitsuoka Motors in 1982, the Zipper was then licensed to Zoe Motors of Los Angeles who envisioned the very-Japanese vehicle as a budget-conscious solution to the fuel crisis of the time. With a Honda 49cc two stroke engine and a one-seater cabin, the Zipper aligns more comfortably with scooter construction than that of other microcars – the differentiating factor being its striking triangular body offered as both a hardtop and convertible.
