Norman Jaffe is known for his suite of strikingly angular, idiosyncratic residences in the Hamptons area and his Burland House is no exception. With a reduced, triangulated volume that is articulated through indentations and openings, Jaffe’s design conflates the traditional pitched roof timber housing typology with a far more modern architectural ethos.
