Chevrolet Ramarro [1984]

Named after a green lizard and based on Chevrolet’s popular Corvette platform, Bertone completely redesigned the vehicle’s chassis, first by relocating mechanical components to the rear and introducing inventive hardware such as that which facilitated forward-sliding doors. Boasting an unabashedly futuristic, American-cross-Italian aesthetic, the Ramarro’s key features include an almost entirely glazed cabin and an aggressive, angular indented set of panels that carry lines through the vehicle’s side.
